John telling the group about the history of the Irish Club building and the club.
As part of the National Trust's Heritage Festival 2023, Hawes Heritage Events conducted a tour of Hawes' sites in Geraldton that are not usually accessible to the public.
There were a few added surprises with the appearance of 'John Hawes' at the Hermitage and the singing of Oh Danny Boy at the graveside of Bishop Kelly by Erin Kelly.
Hawes Heritage Events is very grateful to the Sisters of Nazareth for allowing access to the courtyard of the building and providing afternoon tea, Peter Boyle (John Hawes), Erin Kelly and Angie Sims Photography for recording the tour.
