John Hawes the Saint?

In June 2023, The Roman Catholic Diocese of Geraldton was advised by  the Roman Dicastery for the Cause of Saints that there are no objections from the Dicastery  to progress  the Diocesan Enquiry into the life of Servant of God John Cyril Hawes, including evidence of his life of heroic virtues, holiness and of intercessory prayer.

On September 14th 2024, during the Centenary Celebrations of the Laying of the Foundation Stone at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church in Mullewa,  a Prayer Card for the beatification of the Servant of God John Cyril Hawes was distributed, that seeks his intercession for special favours.
