A celebration of the 90th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of Monsignor Hawes’ stunning church: Northampton’s St Mary in Ara Coeli.
A joyful journey of prayer and song !!
This mini pilgrimage includes Midday Prayer and Regina Coeli at Northampton church, Eucharistic procession and Benediction; Fr Robert Cross will give a short talk about Hawes’ Northampton church and its history; then a special commemoration takes place at 3:30pm – the exact time 90 years ago when the church’s foundation stone was laid, linking us in a special way with the history of this significant building !!
- Pilgrimage includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea – and we are even throwing in a fun sing-along on the bus !!
- Bus departs (St Francis Xavier Cathedral Geraldton) at 11am (following the 9:30am Mass) and returns to Geraldton by 5pm
